“The 7”

7 Thrusters, 95
7 Knees to Elbows
7 Deadlifts, 165

Hmmm, well, I was significantly faster this time around than when we did this last May.  Last time for some reason I used 175# for the DL, so maybe that slowed me down? Last time I also did more unbroken sets of thrusters, and this time I broke them all into 4-3, which would mean I am seemingly getting worse?  Today I ripped my hand wide the fuck open on the very first round, so that was sweet. However, despite all these things my time was exactly 5 mins faster, which seems crazy. I am going to credit this to the fact that I am just more proficient at everything now, making my need for rest and the ability to move through everything better. Or I just had a really fucking shitty day last time around haha, I remember feeling like shit.


Some snatch stuff. My hand was hurting, I couldn’t really grip the bar, my heart wasn’t in it. For some reason I’m a bit out of it and not super motivated lately. Nothing really pushing or driving me right now, just constantly thinking how I would rather be not at the gym. However, I have a dress to fit….so I have to be at the gym.
